Minutes
Facilitator: Mikaela Notes: Chris (Go Free Range) * Agenda ** Set up wiki accounts Talk to Chris (WebArchitects) or ask on CoTech forum and we can set you up. Each co-op should already have someone who can do it for you, see: https://wiki.cotech.coop/wiki/Special:ListUsers ** Updates from last meeting Richard (Outlandish): We're speaking to Ethical consumer conference and hoping to get a space to speak. ** Oxford gathering update Mikaela: Only 12 registrations so far. 4 people from Agile, so expecting around 20 max. Probably going to stick to a single track rather than have breakouts. Received a submission from Richard (Outlandish) to talk about CoTech marketing/outreach. Richard (Outlandish): Natasha interviewed some stakeholders about triaging incoming leads, using the forum better. She's produced a 15 min video to talk through the results of this work. Richard would like to show the findings, and then run a "how might we" activity. Also run a sketching "crazy 8" workshop for improvements/changes to CoTech forum/website - hopefully to take away some actionable changes for Natasha and others to work on later. Mikaela: We should be able to run this session in the morning. Richard (Agile): confirms there's room to run these types of activities and also outdoor space for breakouts. ** Group chat discussion John has written a tool to link Slack, RocketChat and Discord channels to a "CoTech feed". Speak to John if you want to get yourself set up with that. ** CoTech Awards John presented an idea for a session at the gathering to give out CoTech Awards. We discussed whether this should be a purely-for-fun activity or something bigger and more serious. If the latter we felt we wanted to have more people involved in planning it and possibly extend it to non-CoTech members (e.g. our clients). We weren't sure if the gathering would have the right kind of room to allow a break-out session so John's going to pursue this idea online for now. ** CoTech fund update Chris (Go Free Range) gave an update on the ideas Richard (Agile), Ben and him have been working up to potentially increase CoTech members' workers.coop subscriptions but receive a matched amount back from workers.coop to use as we see fit. They've run the idea in principle past some workers.coop people and it's been positively received. Action: Chris (Go Free Range) to talk to Chris (WebArchitects) or Natasha to run a report on how much CoTech members currently contribute so we can put some real numbers on the proposal.
